Pet Nat, short for the French term "Pétillant Naturel," signifies natural fizziness. This type of sparkling wine undergoes only one fermentation, resulting in rustic and lively wines. Our version of Pet Nat naturally had to be made from the most important local red variety, Teran, which perfectly complemented the fruity Merlot. The wine has a delicate rose color, is cloudy and partially dense, tiny and numerous bubbles emerge when poured into the glass, the wine gradually opens up, releasing fine aromas of berries. Elegant raspberry and cherry notes appear on the first nose, followed by hints of wild strawberry and orange zest on the second, indicating a rich complexity of aromas. The wine is dry, with excellent freshness, delicious, and well-balanced. Serving temperature: 6-8 °C. Pairing: It pairs excellently as an aperitif or with cold seafood appetizers such as marinated sardines.
