To visit our winery, it’s essential to arrange your own transportation. If you want to experience a wine tasting, Our recommendation is to designate a sober driver to ensure everyone’s safety. However, we understand that some may not want to miss out on the wine tasting experience during their holiday. In such cases, we offer several suggestions.

If you’re located in Novigrad or its surrounding area, you can opt to travel by bike. You can either bring your own bike from home or rent one in Novigrad. There are several rental options available, including carbon road bikes, E-bikes, and touring bikes. Our winery is conveniently situated close to the bike trail O8: NOVIGRAD – FROM THE SEA TO THE VINEYARDS AND OLIVE GROVES. This scenic route begins at the historic town center of Novigrad, then follows the coastline to Mareda. From there, it leads through picturesque vineyards and olive groves, passing through Fiorini, Kršin, Bužinija, Paolija, and Velika Stancija. When you reach Velika Stancija, you’re just a stone’s throw away from our winery, so be sure to stop for refreshments. More information about this trail can be found here: Istria Bike Trails. Turn your visit into a biking and wine tasting day trip for a memorable experience.

The convenience of taking a taxi is also a viable option. However, it’s worth noting that during the summer season, delays can occur, leading to potential disappointment. Therefore, it’s advisable to call ahead and book your taxi in advance to ensure a smooth experience.

Another option is the Novigrad Wine Trail, offering a unique wine tasting experience without worrying about transportation. Guests gather at the tourist train station in Novigrad harbor and visit three wineries, including ours, where you can sample three of our wines paired with local finger foods. This is a group experience, and there’s a limited time allotted at each winery. However, it’s an excellent opportunity to taste a variety of local wines in a single day. Tickets need to be purchased in advance, and the experience is available only once a week during specific times of the year.

Lastly, you can choose to walk to our winery. It’s approximately a 35-minute walk from the city center of Novigrad, and a similar distance from the tourist area with hotels and camps. This option allows you to enjoy the beautiful countryside, particularly ideal during the spring and fall seasons rather than on hot summer days.

If you’re concerned about carrying your purchases, we’ve got you covered. You can either return to pick up your purchases on another day, or we can arrange for delivery if you’re within the Novigrad area.
